Hi, I'm James, a South African fashion designer and educator with more than fifteen years of experience across the fashion industry and higher education. Specialising in premium contemporary womenswear, my practice bridges creative design and technical garment development, supporting brands from initial ideas through to resolved, production-ready products. I work directly with clients throughout the development process, including international collaborations, combining hands-on industry experience with 3D-led development to improve decision-making and reduce unnecessary physical sampling. Alongside my professional practice, I teach the practical design, pattern-making and garment construction skills that underpin the discipline.
